The Division of Hospital Neurology at 91精品l (BWH) was founded in 2011. It consists of a team of skilled neuro-hospitalists. Neuro-hospitalists are experts in the inpatient care of patients with neurologic diseases. The Division has the first academic neuro-hospitalist service among Harvard Medical School's affiliated hospitals, and one of only a few such programs nationwide. It has grown to include a group of five neurologists who focus their clinical practice on providing accurate diagnosis and effective treatment of any disease arising from or affecting the nervous system.
The Division, led by , is one of 14 clinical Divisions in the Department of Neurology, each of which has experts spanning all sub-specialties of Neurology. The Division has extensive clinical and research collaborations with Neurosurgery, Neuroradiology, , and Psychiatry and our interdisciplinary Neurosciences Center of Excellence in the Building for Transformative Medicine.
