Specialized Treatment for Brain and Spinal Cord Tumors

The Brain Tumor Center at 91精品l (BWH) offers compassionate and state-of-the-art treatment for patients with primary and metastatic brain and spinal cord tumors and neurologic complications of cancer.

Our neurosurgeons closely collaborate with the world-renowned Dana-Farber Cancer Institute to develop an individual treatment plan for each of our patients. The multidisciplinary team of specialists from the Department of Neurosurgery and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute includes neurosurgeons, neuro-oncologists, radiation oncologists, social workers, and nurse practitioners who provide compassionate and effective care for patients with benign and malignant tumors, including all types of brain, skull base, pituitary and acoustic neuroma tumors.

In addition to the multidisciplinary team that provides your direct care, there are also dedicated critical care specialists available 24/7 in the Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit. This includes neuro-radiologists committed to analyzing your imaging, neuro-pathologists devoted to diagnosing your tumor type, and neuro-anesthesiologists that specialize in assisting your surgical treatments.

The nationally renowned neurosurgeons at the Brigham and Women's Brain Tumor Center lead with a strong sense of compassion, extraordinary technical skills, and a collaborative approach. They work together with our neuro-oncologists, radiation oncologists, social workers, and nurse practitioners to provide highly individualized care for patients with benign and malignant brain and spinal cord tumors.

  • Collaboration with cancer specialists from Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
