It is an ongoing drop-in group with no screening required. The Ventricular Assist Device Program offers a monthly support group and those invited are patients who are both pre- and post-VAD and their family members or other caregivers. The group can be an invaluable source of information and support. Each month, various members of the VAD community provide education and lead discussion about different topics related to VAD.
