Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)

The ATLS student course is a 2-day continuing medical education program (CME) designed by to teach medical professionals the standardized skills required for initial assessment and stabilization of injured patients. BWH offers ATLS courses five times per year.

Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)

The purpose of TNCC is to present core-level knowledge, refine skills, and build a firm foundation in trauma nursing. Developed by the , this 2-day, 16-hour course is designed to provide nurses with cognitive knowledge and psychomotor skills.

Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR)

TCAR is a 2-day trauma fundamentals course for nurses in the acute care, critical care, and perioperative disciplines. Created by in 2008, TCAR provides an A-Z perspective of trauma nursing, focusing on common threads across the care continuum.
