Our neurosurgeons are a key part of the multidisciplinary Edward B. Bromfield Epilepsy Program at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Many medications are available and this is the primary treatment for epilepsy. However, one third of patients diagnosed may not be fully controlled by medication and may qualify for surgical treatment.
