  • Common Challenges in Gynecologic and Obstetric Pathology (Boston, usually in October) offers a comprehensive review of problematic areas of obstetric and gynecologic pathology. The course combines classroom lecture, high-quality microscopic screen projection and discussion of over 100 challenging cases and an interactive post-test with audience participation. Topics include a wide range of challenges encountered in gynecologic and obstetric practice in the diagnosis of early malignancy, epithelial, mesenchymal and trophoblastic neoplasia, borderline and malignant pelvic epithelial neoplasia, and use of special stains and biomarkers.
  • Interpreting the Endometrial Biopsy (Boston, usually in November) covers diagnostic interpretive problems in endometrial pathology, with an emphasis on unusual presentations of common disorders. The course offers a unique format combining classroom teaching with digital presentation of known case examples and unknown case examples. Participants will be able to express their opinion of unknown cases using an electronic voting system, results of which will be summarized for the group.
